Wild Goose Announces Regional Events

At Wild Goose, we believe when the programming ends, the festival and its values continue. One way we hope to extend the festival in 2012 is to create opportunities to connect with Wild Goose friends throughout the year.

Along these lines, prior to this year’s festival, we will be encouraging regional gatherings in cities around the U.S. These nights, which will be locally and informally organized, will include local music, food and community.

The first five events will be held in the following cities:

• Nashville, Tennessee – Wednesday, April 25th- 7 to 9 p.m.
• Pittsburgh, PA – Sunday, April 22nd – 6 – 8 p.m.
• Raleigh – Durham, North Carolina – Wednesday, May 9th – 7 to 10 p.m.
• Jackson, Michigan – Saturday, May 5 – 6 to 8 p.m.
• Savannah, Georgia – Friday, May 18th – 8 to 10 p.m.

Special invitation pages with more details will be released soon. But until then, if you live in one of these five cities and would like to help out at or attend one of these local events, please contact sarah (at) wildgoosefestival (dot) org.

More events in other regions including sites on the west coast and in New England will be announced soon.

We also invite friends and attenders of Wild Goose to host your own event! If you would like to host an event to connect with Wild Goose people in your region, we will make Buy One Get One Free tickets available for you and your guests during your party. Your event can be formal or informal; big or small; a dinner party, barbecue, cocktail party or whatever kind of shin dig you can dream up.
