Look, it’s not Rev. Njohi being a pervert and coercing women into not wearing undies, he’s just trying to make sure they receive the spirit of Christ…which is somehow hampered by underwear. The good lord can bypass blue jeans just fine, but when it comes to thin fabric that can’t even manage to completely stop light particles from passing through, god is simply vexed. It seems Jesus is all-powerful up until he bumps into a pair of panties. Then there’s nothing he can do.
A local pastor has ordered all women who attend service at Lord’s Propeller Redemption Church to refrain from wearing undergarments while attending so that they can more easily receive the spirit of Jesus Christ.
The Kenyan Daily Post is reporting that a pastor identified only as “Reverend Njohi” claimed bras and underwear are not godly. Additionally, the paper says Njohi wants women who attend service at the church to be “free,” and that there would be consequences for those who do not comply.
One can only wonder why god told this to Rev. Njohi and not to the women of his congregation/the world. Surely god might’ve thought “Hrm, this will look pretty sketch if I choose this guy to deliver this message.”
I wonder if Rev. Njohi ever explained how the spirit of Christ enters a man – especially through men’s typically more opaque undergarments.
I know what you’re thinking: Njohi might be transposing his own desire to see women without undergarments onto god’s will – he might be acting on his own taboo interests and not god’s. But lay that to rest – he said it was god’s will (he didn’t provide any evidence, but he said it, and people never lie about religion). I swear, you can get away with anything if you say it’s god’s will.
