Faith healer Adam Miller suing youtuber for pointing out he’s a fraud.

Faith healer Adam Miller suing youtuber for pointing out he’s a fraud. May 6, 2015

Stephanie Guttormson is the Operations Director for the Richard Dawkins Foundation.  She also runs a youtube channel called Think Stephtically on which she has pointed out on a few occasions that Adam Miller, a purported Faith Healer is, well, full of shit.

Now Miller is suing her for copyright infringement, tortious interference, and defamation.

The short of what’s going on here is Miller is saying “I have enough money to afford a lawyer and you don’t.”  It’s a sad day when scamming people is that lucrative.

Anyway, let’s see if we can fix that.  Needless to say Miller doesn’t have much of a case, if any case.  There’s a pretty good chance that on top of winning Stephanie can also hit him for legal costs, and I can’t think of much that would make me happier.  Optimally, if we could find a lawyer in Arizona who would represent her pro bono or at least on the cheap, that would rule.  Failing that, Stephanie is trying to raise $10,000 for representation.  Click that link and donate what you can, but even if you can’t donate anything you can still share this around and get the word out.

I hate seeing frauds escape skepticism through bullshit like this.
