As the wife left her Americorps position to begin med school she came home with one last patch of sickness which Dave and I now get to share. Yay, parting gifts!
So I’ll scan the news today, see what Trump is up to, etc. But I plan to spend much of the day cooking. While I’m getting better, that’s not saying much considering how low I started in terms of cooking skill. So maybe some of you can help me.
I want to make individually bottled smoothies for the wife to grab on the way out the door in the morning. Does anybody do anything like this? She likes fruit, chocolate, peanut butter, you name it.
I also want to make an easy breakfast to keep in the fridge for her to grab on the way out. I’ve gotten overnight oatmeal down pretty good and today I’m going to try peanut butter oatmeal balls. However, I’ll take any suggestions you all have.
And, if I either succeed or fail monumentally, I’ll post pictures.
