Mazel Tov (Hebrew), pronounced MAH-zal TAH-V. Literally translated to "good luck," It's is used to congratulate someone on current good fortune, not for future luck. If someone has a new baby you might say "Mazel Tov!" You would never say "Mazel Tov on your test today."
