Benjamin J. Chicka is a Ph.D. student in philosophy of religion and theology at Claremont Graduate University. His doctoral research focuses on combining the religion and science and religious pluralism discussions through the methodology of the American pragmatists. Benjamin has published articles in science, astronomy and neuroscience, as well as theology. His most recent work, "Indeterminacy, Ultimacy, and the World: the Self-Creation of Religious Pluralism through Community and Creation," is forthcoming in the next issue of Sophia.
