Bracing for the Silver Tsunami

Morbidity doesn't only describe diseases of the body; it has spiritual application too. The Bible teaches that we are all born with a sin "infection" that separates us from God.

Because God accepted Jesus's sacrificial death as payment in full for our sins, when we believe and accept this gift, it heals our "sin sickness" and places us in a right relationship with God. God adopts us as his own children and reserves a place for us in heaven. Jesus said, "I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again" (John 11:25, Living Bible).

Many people dismiss Jesus in their younger years but reconsider his claims as senescence, the process of growing old, relentlessly inches them closer to their final day on earth. If you would like to explore or re-explore who Jesus is and his promise of eternal life, here two good places to start: I want to believe in God but I don't know how and Knowing God Personally.
