Super Glue

Just when you think you’re going to have a calm summer day with the children, there’s nothing like a little super-glue drama to spice things up. Yes, friends, I have spent the past hour scrubbing super glue off of the fingers of my right hand after an unfortunate malfunction while opening the tube. Only a few remnants remain. Thankfully, my fingers managed to remain unstuck from each other, otherwise I would probably be having a panic attack right now 🙂 In case this ever happens to you, here is a helpful tutorial in how to remove super glue from your skin. Needless to say, I think it will be a little while before I purchase another tube of super glue. Our last accident with this stuff occurred a couple of years ago, when my then 2.5 year-old found the glue and decided to paint her nails with it in the 60 seconds before I found her (the tube looked very much like a bottle of nail polish). Both experiences have been a bit traumatizing!
