So much of a woman’s identity is defined by her reproductive capabilities. Why can’t women be regarded for their character and their good choices that are not related to their relationship status and the ultimate goal of childbearing?  Amanda Bast drives this point home very pointedly in her short, but humorous piece, “26, Unmarried, and Childless.”
