Fellow Neutestamentlers. I need your help. Do you know of  recent published work on the concept of the “image of God” in the New Testament? Could you give me a name and some bibliography?

You may want to check out Interpretation 59:4 (October 2005) 341-391. It appears there are some articles on this topic. They may or may not be helpful.

    Hi Joel.

You are probably aware of BW3’s 2-volume work, “The Indelible Image: The Theological and Ethical Thought World of the New Testament”

    – Volume 1: The Individual Witnesses.

    – Volume 2: The Collective Witness.

Published by IVP Academic in 2009 and 2010.
There’s as “Short List” bibliography at the end of each chapter.

I am a GA for John Kiner (TEDS). While his discipline is Bioethics, his forthcoming book on the image has an incredible bibliography and some great material. I definitely recommend looking for it!
