Final Notice from Strathmore’s Registries

Final Notice from Strathmore’s Registries July 28, 2010

One of the clear signs that various Who’s Who organizations that I’ve mentioned before on this blog are scams is the fact that every day my spam filter usually contains at least one “final notice” from them about my “opportunity” to be included in their Who’s Who directory.

All the ones I’ve come across thus far simply take money from anyone willing to give it to them and in exchange include that person in their directory.

Is “Strathmore’s Who’s Who” the same sort of scam? I don’t know, and hope not to find out, but today I received the first “final notice” e-mail I’ve noticed from them in my spam filter. I wonder how many more there will be.

My advice to anyone interested is to steer clear of any organization that offers to include you in a “Who’s Who” and whose web site is simply a place for you to enter your personal information. But definitely steer clear of any that use the word “final” in their e-mails but clearly don’t really mean it.
