Octopus not sentient? Perhaps octopus are the new superhero. Self aware of their surroundings – enough to camouflage based upon background, water jet propelled to escape a threat, ink jet to confuse enemies. Almost as good a trick as resurrection. Octopus planet watching “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern”, seeing octopus sushi, and Koreans eating baby octopus alive. Octopus awareness of humans – the ultimate satan OK, I’m a little crazy.The only truly unique characteristic of humans is their supreme obsession with the superiority of themselves.
