Dr. Seuss (and the Bible) for the Symbolism-Challenged

Sometimes people get into debates over whether something is literally true to be accepted without questioning however implausible, or false and therefore something only stupid people believe, not realizing that both are perhaps missing the point of the stories. And so for those whose ability to grasp symbolism and appreciate myth is poor, here are some Dr. Seuss covers redone to spell it out for you:

Are there other stories, e.g. in the Bible, which people who just don’t get symbolism and myth misunderstand or fail to appreciate? If so, what title would you give them to spell it out for them?

No title needed. Word for word quote….
Acts 10:10-13 “And he became hungry and desired something to eat; but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance and saw the heaven opened, and something descending, like a great sheet, let down by four corners upon the earth. In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air. And there came a voice to him, “Rise Peter; kill and eat””.
    Hungry, hungry, I am hungry

    Table, table here I come!

I could eat a goose moose
    burger

15 pickels and a purple plum

I could eat 3 bowls of
    goolash

Half a pound of wuzzled wheat

I could eat a peck of poobers

Then I really get to work and
    eat!

Oh the stuff that I could
    eat!

    Oysters, noodles, strawberry
    stroodles

    French fries, fish hash, one
    red beet

    Lamb chops, wham chops,
    huckleberry

    Mish mash

Oh the things that I could
    eat!

    Doughnuts, dumplings,
    blueberry

    bumplings

    Chocolate mush-mush super
    sweet

    Clam stew, ham stew,
    watermelon

    Wush wush

Oh the stuff that I could
    eat!

    Deep dish rhubarb upside down
    cake

I could eat a frittered flum

    Hungry, hungry, I am starving

    Table,
    table here I come!
