Cat God vs Sun King [A Week of Time Wasters]

As I mentioned last week, I had to wrap up the September issue of Games Magazine, which led to lighter-than-usual posting at the end of the week. In order to make up for that, I’m going to post five days worth of insidious browser-based time-wasters: little games that will make that coffee break vanish faster than stack of David Haas CDs at an LCWR conference. Let’s start the week off with a bit of idolatry:

Cat God vs Sun King

The loyal Slaves of the Sun King have abandoned their worship of Cat God and are building a temple in honor of their new leader. This will not be tolerated. Cat God will rain down death upon the heads of the slaves and minions of the sun king as they attempt to raise their ziggurat. The minions build from the bottom up, and the Cat God attacks from the top, raining fireballs, summoning sandworms, calling skeletal warriors, and deploying a nice array of upgradable and diabolical attacks to thwart the Sun King’s Forces. In response, the Sun King summons ever-more-powerful helpers, including priests to shield slaves and increasingly tough defenders to protect the construction site. There are even some odd upgrades to give you an edge, such a stuffed scorpion or jar of camel pee to upgrade stats, or The World’s Smallest Axe for horizontal attacks. Play it at Also available for Android.
