Trying Blogpress

When I travel to Israel this summer, I will be testing out the blogging capabilities of the iPad 2, in the hope that when I travel with students I can keep them in touch with their families and post photos from the trip.

To that end, I’ll be trying out some blogging apps, including the one I am composing this on, namely BlogPress.

One very nice feature is that you can take a photo using the built-in iPad 2 camera right within BlogPress and include it in your blog post. Here’s an example:

    I found this to be a great app for on the go posting. I actually prefered it to my MacBook at times, especially with an external keyboard. You can also compose your messages in Textexpander, then paste them into BlogPress. A great time saver, indeed!
