Hitch Comes Face to Face with the Old Man with a Long Beard

I’ve seen several of these cartoons before, but since these all popped up in my feed reader today, I thought I would collect them all and share them.

I see Mother Teresa has a smile on her face. If she’s happy, then I’m happy.

But probably because God just told Hitch there is no smoking in heaven. And Hitch just said he’d rather be in hell. The smoking area is located in another location. No matches required.

This isn’t a cartoon, but it’s in a similar vein and I liked it:

I have to admit, the two countries I have seen the most smoking in, is Italy and Israel. Must be some deep theological meaning to that. A long time ago, I had a flight from New York to Rome. Thought I’d die from the smoke. And the plane was full of nuns and priests in uniform. Maybe it’s changed now, I don’t know. Then I connected to a flight from Rome to Catania, that was non-reserved seating. On boarding, I almost got run over by a bunch of elbowing, short (about 4 feet tall), nuns, rushing to board the plane.

BTW, it was an Alitalia flight from NY to Rome. I don’t think they heard of the concept of “non-smoking”.

I remember once waiting for a flight in Bucharest airport, I drew a picture of Europe on a napkin and then made Romania the designated “Smoking Area.”

Hitchens was a war mongering alcoholic who supported the Bush Wars to the hilt.

He promoted hate and we are better off without him
