God’s Relationship to Theology

Another provocative cartoon by David Hayward. What do you think it means? I take it to mean that the depiction of God in theology is no more accurate than Fox News' depictions of Obama. Could it be understood in a different way – as though theology itself is more frequently attacking God than portraying him or communicating information about him?

Whatever you understand it to mean, do you agree with the cartoon's message?
