This reminds me of Marvin (Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy).
Please tell me that “Tard” is the cat’s name and isn’t short for “retard.” Please.
Yes, it is. Gosh, it never occurred to me that it could be understood as something else. Is it used that way in some parts of the world?
Ah, that’s good news. (To answer your question, unfortunately, yes, “tard” is slang in various places.)
Oh dear, now you have got me wondering if that is why they named the cat that.
OK, now this is funny. I looked to see if I could find out the story behind the cat’s name, and apparently Tard is short for… “Tardar Sauce”! http://www.inquisitr.com/345077/meet-tardar-sauce-the-internets-favorite-grumpy-cat/
Why did the picture suddenly change from universe/world view to ET? I was going to say the title was Mis spelled, to Turd in TARDIS. Best litter box view in the universe. Looked like my cat doing his business.
Something strange happened with the images of this post and the next one, but hopefully they are fixed now.
What was it that Tom Baker called the TARDIS to explain why it’s bigger on the inside than on the outside? Was it “ransdimensional”? Maybe kittie is grumpy because it took him 3 hours to find the exit!
No, kitty is grumpy because it has considered the breadth and depth of our current Congress.
For some reason the picture shows “wizard” instead of “grumpy cat in TARDIS”. Maybe wizard trumps grumpy cat. Maybe the pictures need unique names, so they don’t get loaded from a common cache.
Something strange happed with this post and the picture in it. I probably need to upload it again…
