  • I’m under the impression the expression “emergent Church” has almost died out.

    Many conservatives have screamed “Victory!” without realizing this is just being currently called “progressive Church”.

    As I wrote to Robert in the last post, I’ve tried to make a (admittedly subjective) difference between progressive and conservative Christianity:

    I think this is important for the sake of clarity in conversations and debates.

    Whilst I don’t believe in any special inspiration for the Bible, I am not a liberal according to the criteria laid out by theologian Roger Olson since I’m quite open to the existence of spiritual entities.

      I notice (and usually smile) when I see the reactions of “conservatives,” no matter what that reaction really is, characterised as “screaming.” Of course, screaming. What else would a conservative do, right?
