    I remember reading an OT commentary on Genesis about the flood, by Friedman, stating a rabbi comment that the rainbow was a “bow” aimed away from the earth, indicating God wasn’t going to inflict another “Noah’s flood” on the earth. Guess it doesn’t apply to tornados. Or limited floods, for that matter. Optimism never dies.
