Who Is Amy Blackthorn?

Amy is a Green Witch. She is an herbalist, a horticulture student, and a certified aromatherapist. What is unique about her background is that Amy has worked in executive security, bringing that knowledge into her magic.

Blackthorn’s Protection Magic is a comprehensive book, offering the reader a deeper look into protection magic. She delves beyond curses, hexes, and psychic protection (those things are included too) into how to make oneself safe in mind, body, and spirit, including practical suggestions for everyday life.

What’s In The Book

Blackthorn’s Protection Magic divides into three main focuses: psychic, physical, and emotional security. Her spellcraft and strategies incorporate plants, essential oils, and other nature-based magic.

Topics include foundational principles, practicalities to keep in mind, ethics, etc. Amy shares how to discern a curse or a fake stone. Additionally, she gives information on creating a garden to enhance protection using shapes, plant allies, etc.

In addition, there is a guide to using the Tarot in spellcraft, days of the week, colors, and more.

My Thoughts

I have the audio version of this book and love it. But, honestly, I’m planning to pick up a physical copy to underline things and make notes. Everything has a logical progression, building concepts and offering ways to implement protection magic into every area of life.

Blackthorn’s Protection Magic goes a step beyond other books in its genre. Amy’s book is a necessary resource for any Witch, Pagan, or magical practitioner at any level of experience or knowledge.
