5) Voting for Trump or Stein is a vote for Trump
When Jill Stein ran for president in 2012, she received about one half of one percent of the vote. She may do better this time, but she still has no chance of winning as she is polling behind “Deez Nuts” and a dead gorilla.
What frustrates me is that Stein (hopefully) understands she has no chance, but pretends people can “vote their conscience” without any negative repercussions (a Trump presidency). I think this is very disingenuous because the reality is that we have two-party system at the presidential level. Bernie Sanders, the longest serving independent in Congress, understands third-party politics very well and continually advises people to not vote for third-party presidential candidates if they care about supporting liberal values.
