You settle for less than you deserve because somewhere along the line you forgot your Birthright.  This Birthright includes everything you could possibly want.  The abundance available on Planet Earth is never ending.  Unfortunately, you choose to believe that, for YOU to receive blessings, SOMEONE ELSE must lose out, that God’s blessings are limited, that there aren’t enough blessings to go around. A friend of mine actually said, “I don’t want to be getting good stuff when I know that others aren’t getting good stuff too.”

 Matthew 7:8 says: “For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” This verse tells us that God’s abundance is available to EVERYONE! This means that the abundance YOU receive is not taking away from anyone else’s abundance. This limited, false belief creates the very situation that you fear, since YOUR THOUGHTS CREATE YOUR REALITY.

 My Mom Learned the Power of Allowing a Miracle

As I shared in an earlier post, when my dad accepted an out-of-town job assignment that would keep him away for a couple of months, he gave my mother money to feed us until he returned.  Unfortunately, he was gone longer than expected, and the money was running out.

She stood at the dresser drawer, holding the remaining $4.00 left to feed us until my father returned, wondering how she was going to feed us with that paltry amount. She dropped the money back in the drawer and tried to close it, but something caught on it so the drawer wouldn’t close.

My mom had a mustard seed pendant attached to her watch band which had stopped the drawer from closing.  And when she looked at it and remembered the significance of the mustard seed, she spoke out loud to God. “Lord, you know my need.  I need money to feed myself and my children.  And so, I’m putting this in Your hands.”

Later, when a neighbor who was going to the grocery store asked if my mom needed anything, she went to get the remaining money, wondering what she could buy with $4.00.  And when she opened the dresser drawer, she found a $20.00 bill in place of the $4.00 she had seen earlier! That was a true miracle!

A Well-Known Actress Learned Not to Settle

A well-known actress revealed that she struggled for years working as a waitress and was never able to break into the movies.  She said that every time she went for an audition, the other waiters and waitresses commented, “Yeah, you’re gonna get that part and leave the rest of us here slaving away.”

As a result of their negative comments, she felt guilty about her belief that she could get that part. And guess what?  She never got the part, because her THOUGHTS CREATED HER REALITY! So, she finally ended up seeking help from a psychologist, who explained how she was sabotaging her success by believing that there was ONLY ONE PART AVAILABLE in that movie, and if SHE got it, then NOBODY ELSE she worked with would get a part in the movie.

The psychologist reminded her that there were always many other parts available for her friends and co-workers.  She needed to release her guilt and accept that she DESERVED to get a good part in a movie.  And as a result, on her next audition, she got the part!  And the rest is history!

My Friend’s Husband Found His Dream Job

A friend of mine constantly complained that her husband hated his job.  Each day, when he returned from work, she was forced to listen to a litany of reasons why he hated his job. So, I asked her why he didn’t look for another job.

She sighed and said, “He’s 63 years old!  He believes that nobody will hire him because of his age.  He just figures he’ll have to stick it out until he turns 67 and can retire.”

I responded, “Actually, many companies today are looking for older employees who have better work ethics.  And many people still feel healthy enough to keep working instead of retiring.  Your husband has some amazing skills and years of experience in his chosen field.  I bet you there are quite a few companies who would hire him.”

I encouraged her to have him write down his many skills and areas of expertise.  And then have him select those skills that he REALLY ENJOYS and start looking at companies who could use them. And once he identifies them, have him TAKE ACTION and contact them by calling or going to their office to see if they could use someone with his skills.

He chose to give it a try, and within the month he had a new job making more money!  And now he comes home from work every day raving about how much he loves his job!  He sheepishly admits that he should have done this a long time ago!  Yet his belief that it wasn’t possible for him to get a better job held him back from going for it.

God Provides Unlimited Abundance for Everyone!

My friends, God has set up the system so that there is unlimited abundance for EVERYONE!  All you need to do to tap into this unlimited abundance, ALL OF YOU, not just a few of you, is to say the Password: “THANK YOU GOD.”

The minute you say these words, the Universe has been programmed by God to meet your every need.  You deserve to have the desires of your heart!  If you are not receiving them, don’t blame God!  Blame yourself for not ALLOWING God’s blessings into your life!  It’s as easy as saying “THANK YOU GOD!”

 You Don’t Have to Ask God For Anything!

If you believe that you must ASK God for something, then you have missed the point.  You don’t have to ASK God for anything!  If you are walking through an orchard of apple trees, and you see an apple that you would really like, you don’t stand there, all alone, and say, “Please God!  Will you give me that apple?” 

 NO!  You REACH UP AND PICK IT!  YOU took action!  God created that luscious apple JUST FOR YOU!  But YOU had to reach up and take it!

On the other hand, if you continue to stand there, saying, “Please, God!  Give me that apple,” then you will be waiting a long time.  Do you understand what I’m trying to say?  God has created a world filled with unlimited abundance, but you must REACH OUT for it!  I promise you, as soon as you make your move, and TAKE ACTION, God will ensure that your deepest desires are met!  Go for it!
