Or more precisely: How to blog without wasting eons of time you don’t have to begin with.
Am still deliberating–with the glacial but, I think, dignified pace of an Ent pondering weighty matters–the fate of my blog and general engagement in the Blogosphere.
I very much enjoy exchanging ideas with kindred spirits and blogging is a hard habit to kick. Especially after you’ve watched something like "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism", as I did recently. Timely activist documentaries of this sort remind you how much better the MSM could be if simple and obvious journalistic standards were once again taken seriously.
It also hammers home the desperate need for widespread citizen journalism as a defense against the predations of a Fourth Estate that has abdicated its responsibility to give the citizenry the information it needs to make informed decisions as voters and consumers and instead zealously shills for the narrow ideological interests of the powerful.
