I never had traditional Egyptian food before, so this was all very new to me. This was from a restaurant called Hadoota Masreya near Ibn Battuta Mall. The puffed up bread is always good, but my favorite dish is the Koshari, which is the most popular dish in Egypt. It consists of rice, macaroni pasta, lentils topped with a spicy tomato sauce and friend onions. Amazing!
