
We live in a culture where being stressed out is normal for many people. However, prolonged stress takes a great toll on us personally and relationally–especially in our marriage. But, we don’t have to live this way. Here’s 6 ways to reduce stress in your marriage:
- Don’t bring your work home.
Bringing work home is a HUGE stressor. That’s why it’s so important for us to leave our work at our workplace. If we work from home, this can be a tricky one–but it’s not impossible. We just have to set specific “work hours” and stick too them. And, this is effective for working outside the home as well. When we get home from work, our family needs to be our full focus. So, we need to make sure to tie up any loose ends with work at the workplace–not at home.
