4.  Hide love notes in his/her pockets, lunch, purse, briefcase, etc.

Most people underestimate the power of a love note.  We live in an age where we rarely write anything down on paper anymore, but we are missing out on a great opportunity here.

One of our friends knew he was going to leave for nine months on a military assignment, so he decided to leave his wife love notes all over the house.  He put them in places where he knew she’d be–like inside the laundry basket, dresser drawers, kitchen cabinets, and bedding.  This was a sweet and creative way to let his wife know how much he loved her and was thinking about her, even though they were miles apart during that time.

We can apply this same idea to our every day life.  Write down short little love notes and hide them in places that you know your spouse will naturally be looking.  When he/she finds it, you will most certainly brighten your spouse’s day and make him/her feel loved and appreciated.
