How to TRUST AGAIN: One Wife’s Real-Life Story of Hope

I knew which was the right choice, and with my marriage hanging in the balance, I chose to surrender. To pry my fingers off of the trajectory of my life that I was so determined to control. To experience what it truly meant to rely on the Lord and trust that His ways were better. I did fight for our marriage- not out of anger or contempt, but out of the love that I still had for my husband and the belief that God had a plan for us. But when divorce papers showed up a few months later, I signed them. I didn’t understand it at the time, but God made it clear to me that I needed to let my husband go; that the act of signing wasn’t a resignation that my prayers weren’t answered or that I had given up. It was an act of love that I needed to do in order for God to work.
