IMG_8809v2Blair G. Van Dyke is a researcher, writer, professor, teacher & interfaith dialogist. He is an expert in the history of Mormonism in the Middle East and author of “Holy Lands, A History of the Latter-day Saints in the Near East (with LaMar C. Berrett). His doctoral research was conducted in the West Bank & Gaza Strip, Palestine. He travels to Palestine, Israel and other destinations in the Middle East to conduct research and guide tours which he has done for the past 20 years.

Van Dyke is the Custodian of the Mormon Chapter of the Foundation for Religious Diplomacy (FRD) and has organized and executed many interfaith and intrafaith dialogues. He teaches religion at the Orem Institute of Religion as well as courses in philosophy, interreligous understanding, and Mormon Studies at Utah Valley University. Blair and his wife, Katie are the parents of seven children.
