Servant of God John Paul II

Our beloved Pope John Paul II will be beatified on Divine Mercy Sunday, May 1st 2011! The decree was announced on Friday, and you can read the full text here. The explanation of why we beatify and canonize holy men and women was a nice reminder, and the synopsis of different parts of John Paul II’s life was well-done.
