Gift Grab–Part I

Gift Grab–Part I

Try to say that title 20 times fast!  Ha!

I have been on the prowl lately, attempting to find the world’s most perfect gift.  Gift perfection connotes two key qualities– 1) it does not require any more of me than I have to give (which these days means I’m ordering from a desk chair at the computer–it’s all I can handle!) and 2) the gift must tickle my senses and make me happy.  Tough criteria, I tell you…

So far I have two gift ideas to pass on.  They’re lovely, happy, affordable, and can be ordered with the click of a mouse.  Excellent.

The first are hand-sewn camera strap covers and keychains.  What fun prints and quality craftmanship!  Even better is that they are made by a dear friend of mine from our Army days.  She’s a gem (and doesn’t know I’m promoting her here, but I’m only doing it because her craft is awesome and meets all the above criteria.)  You’d better believe I already have 4 keychains on order–two for the older boys’ teachers, one for myself (’tis the season for giving :), and the last for a lucky someone’s Christmas stocking.  For a mere $5, how can you argue?

The second are these absolutely adorable chocolates handmade by Fleurir Chocolates.  They are beautiful, edible, and could possibly be the world’s most perfect host/hostess gift.  You know, for the work party at the boss’ house when you don’t know what to bring?  I have an answer for you: Pretty Chocolates.  Yes!

I’ll be back soon with more wonderful finds!  Shop on!!  Feel free to add your own finds in the comments
