Why Christians Should Oppose Anti-Sharia Laws

Over at The Gospel Coalition, Joe Carter has a smart and important piece on why Christians should oppose anti-Sharia laws. Aside from the legal problems it creates, such laws assume that religious ideas should be private and could jeopardize the religious freedom of Christians as well. I would only like to stress that we should be concerned about the number of Christian political groups who have used similar anti-Muslim rhetoric. It is alarming.
