This daily devotional is written by a self-proclaimed “daughter of the Creator,” Crystal McDowell, who is a writer, teacher, speaker, and mother of five. One Place Christian App

If you like good, solid Bible teaching, then you should really love the One Place App for Apple and Androids devices. One Place.com allows you to download sermons from such preachers as John MacArthur, Adrian Rogers, Charles Stanley, Charles Swindoll, Irwin Lutzer, J. Vernon McGee, Chip Ingram, Mike Fabarez, and dozens of others. And they are all free to download on your computer in mp3 form or you can watch the podcast. For the Apple and Android devices, you’ll enjoy streaming different Christian ministries. By the way, podcasting apps are like taking amazing Bible teachers with you wherever you go and enjoy, no matter what you’re doing.

The Christian Quotes App

One the most widely read daily Christian devotional comes from Christian Quotes (christianquotes.info) but it also has an app that allows you to have access to hundreds of inspirational quotes that come with a biblically based devotional. There are already 60,000 subscribers to the website and now through iTunes it can easily be accessed anywhere you are and at any time you want by your wireless device and this app is less than three dollars a month. It’s calledd “Daily Christian Quotes & Devotionals” and this app comes in English, Spanish, and simplified Chinese. By all means, check it out.

Sermon Notes

Apple’s iTunes has good news for those who like to study the Bible and take notes during sermons or Bible studies. It’s called “Sermon Notes: Christian Notes and Church Message” and it is very user friendly. It allows you to take notes right away without spending time on selecting plain text, which fonts to use, what colors you want and what styles you prefer. Your notes are categorized into different subject matter so that you can find the notes you want to, in no time at all. The new 1.3 version of Sermon Notes is better and smoother than ever, eliminating frequent crashes, making it more reliable.

Conclusion

Let us know which Christian apps you have used and approve of and those you’ve used that you’re not that happy with. I sincerely believe that the Daughters of the Creator App and the Christian Quote app are great for daily devotionals while the YouVersion app allows you to bring the Bible with you in 41 different translations, the One Place Christian app lets you download pastor’s sermons, and the Sermon Note app can help you write and quickly organize your sermon or Bible study notes with little effort. These are five apps I highly recommend.
