Fast friendship is formed after tripping during Olympic race

Nikki will run in the final 5000m race on Friday, August 19th, however in the accident Abbey completely tore her ACL, her meniscus and injured her MCL (injuries that require surgery and about 6 months recovery time). By all accounts, no one is quite sure how she managed to finished the last mile of the race with such a bad knee injury!
