About René Albert

I am a millennial husband to a beautiful wife, father of three children, writer and working-class caffeine addict. I’m also a licensed carpenter and construction manager as part of my full-time work. When I’m not busy meeting construction deadlines and chasing little hooligans around the house, I write essays about Catholicism, mere Christian theology and western politics and culture, as well as how they all affect each other.

I’m a former Evangelical who was raised in a Catholic home, but reverted back to the Catholic faith in 2015. I have since been blogging about my experiences, journey of faith and musings in hopes to offer a different perspective on Catholicism and mere Christian beliefs. I also have a passion to promote Christian unity in a vast and diverse culture.

Due to working a full time job in construction, I usually only post two articles per week on average. My goal is to eventually become a full-time writer and possibly start up a podcast or Youtube channel. My hope is that my writing will be an encouragement for those who may be considering Catholic Christianity, have been wounded by others in religious circles or looking for a church community to call home.

My writing is a labor of love, so if you enjoy my work and feel called to support me on Patreon, I would be very much appreciative! Also, if you are on social media, feel free to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Instagram.

Pax vobiscum,

René Albert
