The hottest ticket on Broadway now is Lin Manuel Miranda’s hip hop musical “Hamilton,” playing to sold out crowds at the Richard Rogers Theatre.  Pulling off what many thought was an impossible task — especially in this polarizing political climate — this musical has delighted both Democrats and Republicans alike… and helped more than a few students ace their history tests.

According to its Wikipedia page, it’s won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama” and has been “nominated for a record-setting 16 Tony Awards.”

Also, the effort to remove Alexander Hamilton from the $10 bill was thwarted by the Founder’s newfound popularity.
