How we usher in October

This year we waited until October, though as the piece says, in years past we would move things up a bit.   We are a family of traditions, and woe be to me if I suggest to the boys that we should change certain fundamentals.  Some things come and go, but Halloween Haunts will last well beyond my lifespan if my boys have anything to say about it.
