Author William Arthur Ward once wrote a “blueprint for achievement” if you want to be a winner in life. His suggestions are:
“Believe while others are doubting.
“Plan while others are playing.
“Study while others are sleeping.
“Decide while others are delaying.
“Prepare while others are daydreaming.
“Begin while others are procrastinating.
“Work while others are wishing.
“Save while others are wasting.
“Listen while others are talking.
“Smile while others are pouting.
“Commend while others are criticizing.
“Persist while others are quitting.”
Each of us has what it takes to be a winner. There may be a lot of effort involved, but it will make success that much sweeter.
In the path of righteousness there is life, in walking its
path there is no death. (Proverbs 12:28)
With You at my side, Father, I know I can accomplish Your will for my life.
