Following up on the recent post about my fundraising campaign for Buddhist Global Relief, I’m exceptionally pleased to report that I was able to generate 104% of my fundraising goal!!
Unfortunately, I’m a little under the weather and had to bow out of participating in the walk itself. I was sorry not to have been there to walk with quite a few of my friends, but I’m sure I’ll have another chance again in the future.
The money raised will go to provide emergency food aid and promote greater food productivity at the grass-roots level around the world. For more, check out my recent and past interviews with BGR’s founder, Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, by following this link.
I wish I could have been there, but I’m glad to have been a part of helping directing the generosity of the folks listed below to BGR. As I did with a post following my fundraising campaign for the U.S. Campaign for Burma, I will commence embarrassing them now with my profuse thanks. So…
Thank you…
