As I’ve observed, everywhere I do I’m inevitably asked why Muslims don’t condemn terrorism undertaken in the name of Islam.

Part of my invariable answer is that they do.

Here are a couple of relatively recent examples that I’ve been intending to post:

“Grand Mufti: Jordanian pilot’s murder not part of Islam”

“Prominent jihadi preacher condemns ISIS for Jordanian pilot killing”

And here’s another item about a reaction from Muslim (and other) students at BYU:

“BYU students and Jordanian community unite in prayer for pilot”

Are such statements enough?  No.  They need to become a deafening roar.

And, of course, mere statements won’t be enough, either.
