I’ve just read a very sneering online post alleging that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints cares nothing about the plight of people in the Near East, but is focused entirely on feathering the nests of wealthy American Mormons. So I decided to post something in partial rebuttal, and this video, made last year, was the first such thing I found. (It took me about ten seconds.)
I wonder –quite seriously — how much those doing the sneering have contributed toward the relief of suffering refugees in the Levant.
I may be wrong, but I have a hunch that I know pretty well what they’ve contributed.
