Those who deviate are dunces.
This is what happens to social scientists who entertain Incorrect Thoughts with regard to gay marriage and gay parenting: They suddenly become stupid.

I posted an item yesterday regarding a paper entitled “Emotional Problems among Children with Same-Sex Parents: Difference by Definition.”

Here’s an accessible summary of the thesis of the paper:

I’ve been told by an anonymous supporter of gay marriage that the paper is riddled with methodological errors and incompetence so obvious that zealous advocates of gay marriage who may or may not have any relevant expertise can instantly see that it’s worthless pseudo-scholarship.  It will never, he assures me, pass peer review.  It’s simply too manifestly terrible.

However, it seems that the paper already has passed peer review.

If you download the paper — there’s a button for this purpose in the lower right hand corner of the page where the abstract appears, and to which I supplied a link yesterday — you’ll find that it takes you to the British Journal of Education, Society, and Behavioural Science.

According to data supplied by the journal, the paper was submitted on 14 December 2014 and accepted on 30 January 2015.

The prediction that I offered in yesterday’s blog entry has been proven accurate.
