A nice announcement that was made on Thursday evening:

Incidentally, my wife and I attended a concert at BYU tonight by The King’s Singers.  Their precision was, as it always is, remarkable.  They did a large number of pieces, all American, ranging from spirituals to Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hart.  Tomorrow morning, they’ll perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for its weekly broadcast.

By the way, too, President Dieter F. Uchtdorf and his wife Harriet were there in the audience.  We’ve run into them and members of their family several times at BYU concerts, including one a while back with the Zagreb Saxophone Quartet.  I like that.  The Church is in good hands.
