“Church Applauds Passage of Utah Senate Bill 296”

Gary Herbert, the governor of Utah, has signed into law a landmark bill designed to balance religious liberty with anti-discrimination protections.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints played a not-insignficant role in the legislative history of this new law:
