Among my earliest memories is seeing this painting on the wall above my bed, which my parents had commissioned shortly before I was born. The artist’s name, if I recall correctly, was Throk.  Or Thorg.  Or something like that.

My first reaction to this article was disappointment and (some) anger.  Nourishing the Aging Brain has been the working title for my projected autobiography, which, of course, focuses largely on my daily experiences with Krispy Kreme doughnuts over the past eight or nine decades.

 

Still, I sometimes try to share practical, relevant information here at Sic et Non.  So, despite my resentment, I’m sharing a link to the article, in hopes that it might benefit my readers:
