“Why Islam needs a reformation”

My friend Bob Lavender called this article to my attention from the Wall Street Journal:

It’s a very forceful summons fundamental change in Islam.

It has some very good points.  There are some others, however, that I regard as mistaken and/or unrealistic. And, of course, since its author is now (I believe) an apostate from Islam and an atheist, she’s unlikely to have much impact on faithful Muslims.  And they’re the ones who will need to make any needed reforms.

But I pass it on for interest and discussion.
