
It’s a good question, and well worth discussing.
I’m pleased, too, that it’s being raised by people connected with Albert Einstein’s alma mater, the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule or ETH, in Zürich, in my beloved Switzerland. (By my count, Einstein is one of thirty or so Nobel laureates who’ve studied or taught at the ETH.)
For the six months that I served in the Swiss mission home at Pilatustrasse 11, in the Dolder area of Zürich, I drove past the ETH — the “Federal Institute of Technology” — at least once or twice almost every day.
