If you haven’t yet been to Israel, you might enjoy this 13:35 minute video that’s shown to groups — and there are many of them each week — who visit Brigham Young University’s Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies.

If you’ve been there already, though, you might enjoy it even more.

It introduces BYU to visitors and takes them on a video tour of the Center (since tourists aren’t typically admitted to the building’s academic and residential areas).  It also offers some marvelous views of one of the great cities of the world:

By the way, there are still places available for students to study at the Jerusalem Center during the spring/summer and fall academic terms and, for that matter (though the time is desperately short), there are still spaces open on the tour of Israel that I’ll be leading next week.  (Haven’t you ever done anything impulsive, wild, and wonderful?)
