I’m thrilled that three new temples were announced just now, and I’m thrilled by the locations for which they were announced:
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Bangkok, Thailand

I’m thrilled, too, as I consider the people that these three temples will serve. Two of them, I’m sure, will be overwhelmingly staffed and used by my black brothers and sisters.

I immediately told my wife that we need to go out soon for a Thai dinner, in order to celebrate the announcement of a temple in Bangkok. Of course, I would be willing to eat Thai food for any excuse whatever or for none at all. Heck, our family used to have a tradition of getting take-out Thai food to eat while we watched the latest episode of Kiefer Sutherland’s 24.
