Incidentally, let me state for the record that I don’t think that Muslims should hide their symbols or disguise their places of worship, either.  Someone wrote to me a couple of days ago, protesting my supposedly long history of contempt for Islam and hatred for Muslims.  I spent roughly four hours in a mosque last night, through two salat prayers.
